Which States Have Network Preferred Providers?
We have a very strong base of Network Preferred Providers in the following States:
Arizona - California - Florida - New Jersey - Nevada - New York - Ohio - Oregon - Texas - Utah - Washington
Other States that we have a limited number of Network Preferred Providers are:

We are in a continual process of recruiting and credentialing dental facilities nationwide, however our focus on is the quality of a dental facility not the quantity of dental facilities.
To the best of our ability, we attempt to limit the number of Network Preferred Providers in a given geographical area. By limiting the number of providers in an area, our member base is spread over just a few providers giving you more patients and a longer relationship with them.
Once you have cleared our credentialing process and become an accredited provider, your office information will be placed on our website
Provider List. This list is used by most of our members to locate providers in their area. If you have your own website we will place a link from your listing to your website.
The main thing to keep in mind is Savon Dental Plan® is actively marketing for your office.
We can get the member to come to you the first time. Nothing we can do will ever make that member return to your practice. It's all up to you and your staff. If you treat them right and they'll come back, if you don't, they won't!
How Do We Determine The Fees On The Fee Schedule?
We are only one of a handful of plans that has an "in house" fee control committee. This committee works within a very specific set of guidelines to monitor, advise and adjust our fee schedules as geographical economic trends dictate.
We have sectioned the50 States into 8 zones. The States are placed into a zone depending on their ranking with the National Dental Advisory Survey®.
Using the NDAS survey, a survey of our dentists and a survey of an equal number of dentists in each state that do not participate in Savon, we develop an average usual and customary fee for that zone.
Once the average fee is calculated it is reduced by 50% and the dentists in each zone are given a fee schedule showing what the Savon fees are.
As a preferred provider you will be under written contract with Savon Dental Plan® to abide at all times by the
fee schedule for your state.
