Definition: Bacteria

Bacteria is the name given to small single celled organisms. Bacteria exist everywhere. Scientists have even found bacteria in space. Usually bacteria are associated with disease, but the' Wonder Drug' of the 20th century that has saved tens of thousands if not tens of millions people; penicillin is made from a bacteria.
